11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and
manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
12 After this he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, and his brethren,
and his disciples: and they continued there not many days.
13 And the Jews' passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Johns Jesus first significant Passover was a few weeks after
his career started. Marks Jesus only significant Passover
was at the end of his career.

all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the
changers' money, and overthrew the tables;
No evidence from Jewish sources or the Synoptics that sheep and oxen were
in the Temple area.

Based on descriptions of the scope of temple operations this would have
been virtually impossible for one man to accomplish which was conceded
by several early Church Fathers such as Origen and the wording of John
gives no indication that the author thought he was describing a miracle.
Josephus records many disturbances in the Temple but never mentions this
one.

Johns Jesus cleans the Temple early in his watch while the Synoptics
Jesus cleans the Temple late in his watch. Spring forward, fall back.

16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence;
make not my Father's house an house of merchandise.
The Greek has the definite article the before father.
The father of me. All translations omit the here.
Not much difference in meaning here but I think it does represent a bad
faith effort on the part of Christian translators to try and remove the
universal meaning of having one unique God and Father for everyone by
removing the definite article. Ironically, several thousand years later,
the forerunner of the modern house of merchandise would be named J.C.

17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal
of thine house hath eaten me up.
This is referring to Psalm 69, verse 10. Lets take a look at the
context:

2 Save me, O G-d; for the waters are come in even unto the soul.
3 I am sunk in deep mire, where there is no standing; I am come into deep
waters, and the flood overwhelmeth me.
4 I am weary of my crying; my throat is dried; mine eyes fail while I
wait for my G-d.
5 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head;
they that would cut me off, being mine enemies wrongfully, are many; should
I restore that which I took not away?
6 O G-d, Thou knowest my folly; and my trespasses are not hid from Thee.
7 Let not them that wait for Thee be ashamed through me, O L-rd GOD of
hosts; let not those that seek Thee be brought to confusion through me,
O G-d of Israel.
8 Because for Thy sake I have borne reproach; confusion hath covered my
face.
9 I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's
children.
10Because zeal for Thy house hath eaten me up, and the reproaches of them
that reproach Thee are fallen upon me.
11And I wept with my soul with fasting, and that became unto me a reproach.
12I made sackcloth also my garment, and I became a byword unto them.
13They that sit in the gate talk of me; and I am the song of the drunkards.
14But as for me, let my prayer be unto Thee, O HaShem, in an acceptable
time; O G-d, in the abundance of Thy mercy, answer me with the truth of
Thy salvation.
15Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink; let me be delivered
from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
16Let not the waterflood overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me
up; and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.
17Answer me, O HaShem, for Thy mercy is good; according to the multitude
of Thy compassions turn Thou unto me.
18And hide not Thy face from Thy servant; for I am in distress; answer
me speedily.
19Draw nigh unto my soul, and redeem it; ransom me because of mine enemies.
20Thou knowest my reproach, and my shame, and my confusion; mine adversaries
are all before Thee.
21Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am sore sick; and I looked for
some to show compassion, but there was none; and for comforters, but I
found none.
22Yea, they put poison into my food; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar
to drink.
23Let their table before them become a snare; and when they are in peace,
let it become a trap.
24Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins
continually to totter.
25Pour out Thine indignation upon them, and let the fierceness of Thine
anger overtake them.
26Let their encampment be desolate; let none dwell in their tents.
27For they persecute him whom Thou hast smitten; and they tell of the
pain of those whom Thou hast wounded.
28Add iniquity unto their iniquity; and let them not come into Thy righteousness.
29Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written
with the righteous.
30But I am afflicted and in pain; let Thy salvation, O G-d, set me up
on high.
31I will praise the name of G-d with a song, and will magnify Him with
thanksgiving.
32And it shall please HaShem better than a bullock that hath horns and
hoofs.
33The humble shall see it, and be glad; ye that seek after G-d, let your
heart revive.
34For HaShem hearkeneth unto the needy, and despiseth not His prisoners.
35Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas, and every thing that moveth
therein.
36For G-d will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah; and they shall
abide there, and have it in possession.
37The seed also of His servants shall inherit it; and they that love His
name shall dwell therein.
Hmm, a Psalm of David about a sinner who asks for salvation from God.
