Luke -- Errors 439-444
#439
Luke 22: (KJV)
31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired
to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
Each you above is plural in the underlying Greek. KJV, as
has a slight majority of modern Christian translations, has mistranslated
to the singular to avoid the appearence of a grammatical error. You
Greek bear is smarter than the average Christian transranger Booboo.

Luke 22: (KJV)
39 And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of
Olives; and his disciples also followed him.
40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter
not into temptation.
41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down,
and prayed,
Compare to Mark 14: (KJV)
26 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount
of Olives.
27 And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this
night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall
be scattered.
28 But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.
29 But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not
I.
30 And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even
in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice.
31 But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will
not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.
32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to
his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
33 And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore
amazed, and to be very heavy;
34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry
ye here, and watch.
35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that,
if it were possible, the hour might pass from him.
Lukes Jesus prayed at the mount of Olives while Marks Jesus
prayed at Gethsemane.

Luke 22: (KJV)
47 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was
called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto
Jesus to kiss him.
48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with
a kiss?
Compare to Mark 14: (KJV)
45 And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and
saith, Master, master; and kissed him.
Lukes Jesus and Judas dont kiss. For Marks Jesus and
Judas though it was kissee boy time.

Luke 22: (KJV)
52 Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the
temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against
a thief, with swords and staves?
53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands
against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
54 Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest's
house. And Peter followed afar off.
55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were
set down together, Peter sat down among them.
56 But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly
looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
57 And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.
58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of
them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.
59 And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed,
saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.
60 And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately,
while he yet spake, the cock crew.
According to the Talmud the Sanhedrin was prohibited from convening at
night or on the eve of holidays.

Luke 22: (KJV)
67 Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I
tell you, ye will not believe:
68 And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.
69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of
God.
70 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto
them, Ye say that I am.
Compare to Mark 14: (KJV)
61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high
priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the
Blessed?
62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the
right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Lukes Jesus wont tell if he is the christ/sonofman/sonofgod
while Marks Jesus says he is. No wonder The Jews were
confused.

Luke 22: (KJV)
66 And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the
chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council,
saying,
67 Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you,
ye will not believe:
68 And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.
69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of
God.
70 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto
them, Ye say that I am.
71 And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have
heard of his own mouth.
Compare to Mark 14: (KJV)
53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were
assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.
54 And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest:
and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.
55 And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against
Jesus to put him to death; and found none.
56 For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not
together.
57 And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,
58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands,
and within three days I will build another made without hands.
59 But neither so did their witness agree together.
60 And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying,
Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest
asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?
62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the
right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any
further witnesses?
64 Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned
him to be guilty of death.
65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet
him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with
the palms of their hands.
66 And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids
of the high priest:
67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said,
And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.
68 But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest.
And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.
Lukes Jesus and the Sanhedrin play 20 questions during the day while
Marks Jesus and the Sanhedrin play it during the night so the difference
in the accounts is night and day.
